This event recognises individuals and organisations that have contributed to the preservation and promotion of Ireland’s industrial heritage. The award was presented by Brid Horan, Executive Director, ESB Energy Solutions & Services, for Restoration to Jackie Whelan (West Clare Railway Locomotive). We are delighted to have received this Award in recognition of our endeavors and ongoing efforts to preserve the local history here at the West Clare Railway.
